Stefan Abingdon is a London-based producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist with over 15 years creating music for artists, brands, and campaigns that get heard. A BRIT School graduate who has performed since age six and produced nearly as long, he has built a career bridging pop production, commercial songwriting, and artist development.

Commercial Music & Brand Campaigns

Stefan has written and produced original music for major brand campaigns, creating tracks that stick in people's heads. He co-wrote "Open For Fun" exclusively for tombola's 2024 national campaign, performed by stand-up Jo Griffin. The track was so catchy it got shortlisted for a Thinkbox award. He has also created music for Legoland and EDF Energy campaigns, showing his ability to write hooks that work in advertising without sounding like advertising.

This commercial work requires a specific skill set: writing memorable, brand-appropriate music under tight deadlines while maintaining musicality. It is harder than it sounds.

Production & Songwriting Credits

Stefan's artist production work spans major labels and independent releases. He co-wrote, engineered, and mixed "When the Sun Goes Down" for Selena Gomez & The Scene's 2011 Hollywood Records album. He has worked extensively with push baby as producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist across their releases.

His production on NOAHFINNCE's albums (including the Hopeless Records releases "Growing Up On The Internet" and "My Brain After Therapy") showcases his ability to handle pop-punk and emotionally complex material. NOAHFINNCE described working with Stefan: "We both like weird shit, and we'd be like kids with instruments." The collaboration included tracks co-written with RØRY and other emerging artists.

Additional credits include work with Trombone Shorty (co-writing "Lie To Me" and "Miss Beautiful"), As It Is, Christina Grimmie, and writing with Jess Glynne. Recent work includes production and co-writing for Sofi Merone ("Life of the Party," 2025, which landed on Spotify's NEW MUSIC FRIDAY), McCall ("Up Down," 2025), and contributions to Hilang Child's "Gratitude Journal" album.

The Midnight Beast (Yes, That Viral Parody Band)

Stefan co-founded The Midnight Beast, the comedy music group whose 2009 Ke$ha "TiK ToK" parody became one of the internet's early viral music moments. The band released two studio albums, produced two seasons of a sitcom for E4, and gained over 80 million YouTube views. It taught him how to write hooks, produce records, and understand what makes music connect with audiences, skills that directly translate to his commercial and artist work today.

With Stefan, you get a producer who understands both artistic credibility and commercial viability. Someone who has written for Hollywood Records releases and brand campaigns. Someone who knows how to make tracks that work on Spotify playlists and in advertising slots. A BRIT School graduate with over 15 years of production experience who can write hooks that stick without being annoying (usually).

For brands: original music that serves the campaign without sounding like every other jingle.

For artists: production that balances creative vision with commercial potential, from someone who's been on both sides.

For managers and A&R: versatility across pop, indie, and commercial contexts, with proven results across platforms and formats.

Stefan was raised in a household where his parents worked as professional country and western musicians, so he has understood music as both art and business since childhood. That perspective shows in his work: creative when it needs to be, practical when deadlines matter, professional always.
