@sametimemusic are Sam and Tim Aitken. I met them at the Great Escape in 2024 when me and @rockyoreilly were half cut and looking for another pint.

Fast forward a year and with a slew of sold out Brighton headline shows under their belt, we’re super pleased they’ve just put out their first single from their forthcoming EP. Premiered by @melitadennett on @bbcintroducing on Thursday night.

What A Way To Go was co-written and co-produced with the most excellent @mattmcguffiee and is a massive slice of alternative pop, managing to be uplifting and melancholic at the same time. For fans of @rolemodel, @bleachersmusic and @somb.r, it also has one hell of a chorus
